Are You Ready for the Battle?

Blog Title: Are You Ready for the Battle?

As children of God, we often hope that our faith will shield us from hardship—but the truth is, our faith prepares us for it, not prevents it.

Jesus never promised a life without storms. In fact, in John 16:33 He clearly states:
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Being a Christian doesn’t make us immune to trouble. It makes us equipped. The enemy doesn’t attack those who walk with him—he attacks those who walk with purpose, those who are growing, those who are dangerous to his agenda.

So the real question is not if the attacks will come, but how will you respond when they do?

1. Know the Source of Your Strength

When the attacks come—whether it's discouragement, financial pressure, relationship tension, or spiritual doubt—you must know where to turn. Ephesians 6 tells us to "put on the full armor of God," because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood. The strength to withstand doesn’t come from willpower, it comes from being plugged into the Word, prayer, and the Holy Spirit.

2. Train Before the Storm

An electrician doesn’t wait for the storm to fix his grounding. He ensures his systems are ready beforehand. Likewise, you must prepare in seasons of peace for the battles ahead. Read the Word daily, worship regularly, and keep a prayer life that’s active—not just reactive.

3. Respond, Don’t React

The enemy wants you to panic. God wants you to stand. When faced with trouble, don’t react emotionally—respond spiritually. Speak God’s truth over the situation. Declare His promises. Let the fruits of the Spirit guide your actions—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23).

4. Remember Who You Are

You are not abandoned. You are not defeated. You are a child of the King. Romans 8:37 reminds us, “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

When the attacks come—and they will—stand firm. The fact that you're being attacked is proof that you're on the right path.

Conclusion

Challenges don’t mean God has left you. They mean you're being forged, strengthened, and prepared for greater purpose. Let every trial push you closer to God, not further away. Be rooted in Him, and no weapon formed against you will prosper.

So… next time the enemy knocks—how will you answer?

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” – Ephesians 6:10

As a Christian I like these quotes nothing to do with denominational purpose but the reality of the good battle in this life that we are living in. I believe in this earth God trains us make us understand the values of life so that we can inherit eternal life with high values of understanding.
