Keep Your Eyes Forward
🔌 Monday Inspiration: Keep Your Eyes Forward
As electricians, we understand the importance of direction and focus. When you’re working with wires, circuits, and live power, you cannot afford to keep looking back — your attention has to be on what’s ahead. If you get distracted, you might miss the very real obstacles and hazards right in front of you.
Life works the same way. Too many of us spend our days staring into the rear-view mirror — thinking about mistakes we’ve made, opportunities we’ve missed, or setbacks we’ve endured. But here’s the truth: you cannot move forward if you are always looking back.
If you focus too much on the past, you won’t see the bumps in the road that are coming your way. And when you’re unprepared, life has a way of knocking you down — sometimes even trampling over you.
Instead, God calls us to look ahead. The future may have obstacles, yes, but it also carries hope, growth, and blessing. Moving forward means:
-
Learning from mistakes, not living in them. Just like testing a circuit and correcting a fault, you fix it and move on — you don’t keep staring at the error forever.
-
Preparing for challenges. An electrician anticipates risks before they happen. In life, you prepare spiritually and mentally by staying focused on God’s promises.
-
Believing in the brighter future. Every day you choose faith, you’re wiring your future for success.
The apostle Paul said it best in Philippians 3:13-14:
"But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
So, this Monday, let’s make a decision: stop looking back. What’s behind you is finished. What’s in front of you is where God wants you to be. Keep believing, stay strong, and press forward.
âš¡ The past does not define you.
âš¡ The present shapes you.
âš¡ The future awaits you.
Keep your eyes ahead — because that’s where the light is shining.
