Moving beyond the known
Moving Beyond the Known
As electricians, we often find ourselves in environments we know well—wiring a distribution board, running conduits, testing circuits. These tasks become second nature. But the moment we are asked to step into something new—solar integration, updated regulations, new technology, or even starting our own contracting business—fear can creep in. The unknown always carries some uncertainty.
The truth is, this is not just an electrician’s challenge—it’s a life challenge. Moving from the known into the unknown can be scary. But God reminds us in His Word that His plans for us are not to harm us, but to prosper us.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
In our trade, staying still means falling behind. Technology moves forward, standards change, and opportunities come disguised as challenges. The same is true spiritually—if we stagnate, we lose the growth and blessing God has prepared for us.
So even if the journey looks complicated, even if the path feels uncertain, take the step. Push forward, believe in Him, and trust that He has already gone ahead to prepare the way.
Remember:
- The known is comfortable, but it can keep you stuck.
- The unknown is where God shapes your future.
- Faith is the bridge between where you are and where God wants you to be.
Electrician, don’t stagnate. Move forward with your tools in hand, your faith in your heart, and your eyes fixed on Him. The wiring of your future is in His perfect design.
