Stand Firm Against the Enemy’s Attacks

⚡ Monday Inspiration for Electricians: Stand Firm Against the Enemy’s Attacks

Scripture: “Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” – Ephesians 6:11

In our work as electricians, we all know how critical it is to follow the regulations. The SANS standards are not suggestions — they are there to protect life and property. If we take shortcuts, ignore the wiring diagrams, or skip proper earthing, the installation might still look fine for now, but deep down, it becomes a ticking time bomb — unsafe, unstable, and waiting to fail.

The same is true in our spiritual lives.

The enemy, the devil, is a master deceiver. He doesn’t come with flashing warning lights or loud alarms — he comes quietly, convincing us to bend a little here, ignore a verse there, or compromise “just this once.” Before long, our lives can look neat and tidy on the outside, but the foundation becomes weak and unsafe.

God’s Word is our Regulation Book — our SANS manual for life. Every instruction in it is there to protect, strengthen, and bless us. When we stand firm on Scripture, even when we’re tested, we stay grounded and safe. When we compromise, we open the door for short circuits — anger, fear, pride, or temptation — to trip our spiritual breakers.

Sometimes the devil attacks through lies:

  • “You’re not good enough.”

  • “Everyone else does it this way.”

  • “Just this once won’t hurt.”

But Jesus answered every lie of Satan in the wilderness with “It is written.”
That’s our blueprint too. When we know the Word, we can stand firm against deception and keep our spiritual circuits protected and compliant.

So this week, let’s check our own wiring:

  • Are we grounded in faith?

  • Are our actions aligned with the Word?

  • Are there any loose connections that need tightening before a fire starts?

Remember, the safest installation is the one built by the Book — both in life and in work.
Stay strong, stay obedient, and let God’s Word be your safety standard.

Don’t let the devil’s lies turn your life into an unsafe installation — keep your wiring according to His Word.
