⚡ STAND STRONG — GOD IS STILL WORKING FOR YOUR GOOD
Every electrician understands pressure.
There are days when the fault cannot easily be found, the deadline is closing in, the client is frustrated, and the responsibility rests heavily on your shoulders. Outside the workplace, there may also be financial pressure, family concerns, disappointment, uncertainty, or battles that nobody else knows about.
The Word of God never promises that life will always be easy.
Jesus warned us that we would face hardship in this world. But He also encouraged us to take heart, because He has overcome the world.
Hardship is not proof that God has abandoned you. Pressure is not proof that His plan has failed. Sometimes the strongest parts of your faith are developed during the seasons when you are required to stand firm.
THE THIEF COMES TO STEAL
John 10:10 reminds us that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy.
The enemy will try to steal your peace before he steals anything else. He will fill your thoughts with doubt, fear and discouragement. He wants you to believe that your present circumstances will determine your future.
He may whisper:
“You are not going to make it.”
“Nothing is going to change.”
“God has forgotten about you.”
“Give up.”
But Jesus continues by declaring that He came so that we may have life in its fullness.
The enemy may have a plan to destroy your confidence, but God has a plan to strengthen your faith. The enemy may want you to focus only on what is going wrong, but God calls you to trust Him for what He is still working out.
PRESSURE REVEALS WHAT IS WITHIN
In electrical work, equipment must be able to withstand the conditions under which it operates. A component that looks perfectly fine under no load may reveal its weakness when pressure is applied.
Our faith can also be tested under pressure.
It is easy to speak about trusting God when everything is going according to plan. True faith becomes visible when the situation becomes difficult, the answers are delayed and the way forward is unclear.
The pressure you are experiencing does not necessarily mean that you are breaking. God may be strengthening you, developing endurance and preparing you for responsibilities that require greater faith.
Do not allow a difficult season to convince you that God is no longer in control.
STAND STRONG WHEN YOU CANNOT SEE THE OUTCOME
An electrician often works with cables hidden behind walls, inside ceilings or beneath the ground. You cannot always see the complete route, but you trust the drawings, test the circuit and follow the correct process.
In the same way, you may not be able to see everything God is doing in your life.
You may only see today’s challenge, while God sees the complete journey. You may see a closed door, while God sees the danger from which He is protecting you. You may see a delay, while God sees preparation. You may see a setback, while God is redirecting your steps.
Romans 8:28 teaches us that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
This does not mean that everything that happens is good. It means that God is powerful enough to take even painful, disappointing and difficult circumstances and use them as part of His greater purpose.
DO NOT LET FEAR BECOME YOUR FOUNDATION
A secure electrical installation begins with a sound foundation: correct design, suitable protection, proper connections and reliable earthing.
Your life also needs a secure foundation.
Do not build your decisions on fear. Do not allow frustration to determine your actions. Do not let the opinions of others become louder than the promises of God.
Build your life on God’s Word.
When circumstances tell you to panic, choose prayer.
When discouragement tells you to stop, choose perseverance.
When fear tells you that everything is falling apart, remind yourself that God is still holding everything together.
Faith does not pretend that the problem does not exist. Faith acknowledges the problem but refuses to believe that the problem is greater than God.
KEEP DOING WHAT IS RIGHT
Standing strong does not always involve doing something dramatic.
Sometimes standing strong means getting up and going to work when you feel discouraged. It means remaining honest when dishonesty would be easier. It means completing your work properly when nobody is watching. It means treating people with respect while you are under pressure.
It means continuing to pray, continuing to believe and continuing to do what is right.
Galatians 6:9 encourages us not to become tired of doing good, because in the proper season we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Your breakthrough may be closer than you realise. Do not abandon the work God is doing in you because the process has become uncomfortable.
GOD IS NOT FINISHED WITH YOUR STORY
The situation you are facing today is only one part of your journey. It is not the final chapter.
God can restore what has been lost. He can open doors that no person can close. He can provide where there seems to be no solution. He can give peace in the middle of uncertainty and strength when you feel that you have nothing left.
You may be under pressure, but you are not without purpose.
You may be experiencing hardship, but you are not facing it alone.
You may not understand the plan, but you can trust the One who holds the plan.
THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE
This week, refuse to surrender your peace to fear.
When pressure comes, pause and pray before you react. Remind yourself that God is present in the workshop, on the construction site, inside the roof, behind the desk, in the vehicle and at home.
Stand strong.
Keep believing.
Keep working with integrity.
Keep trusting God, even when you cannot yet see the outcome.
The thief may come to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came to bring life. Hardship may be part of this world, but it does not have the final word.
God is still working.
God is still faithful.
And God can work even this season together for your good.
🙏 PRAYER
Lord, give me the strength to stand firm when life becomes difficult. Protect my mind from fear, doubt and discouragement. Help me to trust You when I cannot see the complete plan. Give me wisdom in my work, peace in my heart and courage to continue doing what is right. Remind me that I am not alone and that You are able to work every situation according to Your purpose. Amen.
“Stand strong. The pressure may be real, but so are the promises of God.”
