Using Your God-Given Talents to Build His Kingdom

đź’ˇ Using Your God-Given Talents to Build His Kingdom
This week’s inspiration reminds us of a powerful truth: the talents and abilities we have received from God were never meant to stop with us. They were given with purpose — to be used, multiplied, and shared in a way that brings glory to Him and light to others.
As electricians, our skills are practical and visible. We wire homes, restore power, and bring light where there was darkness. But beyond the cables and tools, our work is also a testimony. When we serve with integrity, excellence, patience, and humility, we reflect the work God has already done in our own lives.
Scripture reminds us of this clearly:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
— 1 Peter 4:10
Your talent is not just about earning a living — it’s about serving people. Every honest job, every safe installation, every moment of fairness and care is a way of building God’s Kingdom in everyday places.
Jesus also said:
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16
When others see excellence in your work, calm in your character, and consistency in your values, they don’t just see a good electrician — they see the fruit of God at work in you.
And remember the warning and encouragement from the Parable of the Talents:
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
— Matthew 25:21
God is not asking us to do more than we can — He is asking us to be faithful with what we already have.
So this week, work with purpose.
Serve with gratitude.
And use your skills not only to build installations — but to build people, hope, and the Kingdom of God.
🙏 Reflection question:
How can you use your skills and blessings this week to serve someone else and glorify God?
