The Cross, The Spirit, and The Empty Tomb
🌿 Passover Inspiration: The Cross, The Spirit, and The Empty Tomb
As we reflect on Passover, we are reminded of the Lamb that was slain—not just in Egypt to mark the doors of the Israelites, but of the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world.
He was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities.
He took the weight of sin, death, and shame… so we could walk free.
The Crucifixion was not the end. It was the beginning of eternal hope.
On the cross, Jesus declared, “It is finished.”
And in that moment, the veil tore. Heaven opened.
The punishment we deserved was paid in full by perfect love.
But here’s the truth that shook the world to its core:
The tomb is empty.
Just as it was prophesied, He rose on the third day.
Death could not hold Him. The grave could not contain Him.
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” — Luke 24:5-6
And He didn’t leave us alone.
He gave us a Helper—the Holy Spirit.
He promised, “I will not leave you as orphans.” (John 14:18)
Through the Holy Spirit, we are no longer bound by fear, sin, or the weight of the world.
We are empowered, guided, and filled to carry out His purpose… until He comes again.
“But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.” — Romans 8:10
This Passover, may you find deep rest in His finished work, boldness in the power of the Spirit, and joy in the victory of the empty tomb.
Let the blood of the Lamb speak over your life.
Let the presence of the Spirit guide you every day.
And let the hope of His return anchor your soul.
He died to give you life.
He rose to give you victory.
He sent His Spirit so you’d never walk alone.
